Ep 3. The Buys

In The Wire season 1 episode 3, entitled "The Buys," the focus shifts to D'Angelo Barksdale and his relationship with his uncle Avon Barksdale, the head of a major drug organization in Baltimore. As the episode progresses, we see more of the inner workings of the Barksdale organization. Avon meets with his top lieutenants to discuss a new shipment of drugs, and we see the various players vying for power within the organization. We also see more of D'Angelo's conflicted feelings about his involvement in the drug trade. He seems to be struggling with guilt about the people he has hurt as a result of his actions, but he is also torn between his loyalty to his family and his desire to break free from their influence.

Overall, "The Buys" is a tense and suspenseful episode that provides a deeper understanding of the complex world of drug trafficking.
