Ep 3. Riot On Set

In Total Drama Action season 1 episode 3, titled "Riot on Set," the contestants find themselves on the set of a disaster movie challenge. Chris challenges the teams to film a disaster movie scene, including creating their own special effects. The contestants are divided into two teams, and each team is given a different disaster scenario to film.

The first team, consisting of Courtney, DJ, Lindsay, Owen, and Tyler, is tasked with filming a tidal wave scene. They begin work on their special effects, but things quickly turn chaotic when a surfer accidentally triggers the wave effect and sends water flooding over the set. The team manages to improvise, and ultimately complete their scene in spectacular fashion.

The second team, consisting of Beth, Duncan, Heather, Izzy, and Leshawna, must create a volcanic eruption scene. However, their efforts are constantly hindered by their own personal drama and power struggles, with Heather trying to take control of the team. As they work on their effects, tensions rise and eventually erupt into a full-blown riot on set, with the contestants fighting each other and destroying the set.

As chaos ensues, Chris declares a winner based on the progress each team has made on their scene. He ultimately declares the tidal wave team as the winners, much to the frustration of the volcanic eruption team. However, he announces that a special prize will be given out to the team that can finish their scene first.

The contestants on the tidal wave team decide to sabotage the other team, stealing their script and effects. However, the volcanic eruption team catches on and retaliates by stealing the other team's costumes. In the end, the tidal wave team manages to finish their scene first, but only because the volcanic eruption team got caught up in their own drama.

As the episode comes to a close, Chris announces that one contestant will be eliminated from the show. The contestants brace themselves for the elimination ceremony, with tensions high and alliances wavering. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to find out who will be going home.
