Ep 14. Brunch of Disgustingness

In Total Drama Island season 1 episode 14, titled Brunch of Disgustingness, the remaining contestants are tasked with participating in a disgusting food competition. Chef Hatchet creates an array of unappetizing dishes such as boiled animal snouts, fermented herring smoothies, and ant-covered cheese.

The final dish is a plate of cheese covered in ants. Even the thought of eating ants is enough to make some contestants retch, and most of them struggle to finish the dish. The last contestant to finish the challenge is awarded individual immunity and the opportunity to choose which two contestants will face elimination.

As the contestants recover from the disgusting challenge, tensions rise between certain competitors. Heather and Lindsay have a heated argument over a mirror, with Heather accusing Lindsay of being dim-witted and Lindsay retorting with accusations of Heather being mean-spirited.

Later in the episode, the elimination ceremony takes place, and tensions are high as the contestants wait to see who will be sent home. The first person to receive a marshmallow is Heather, followed by Owen, Gwen, Trent, Bridgette, and Izzy. The final two marshmallows are given to DJ and Beth, leaving Justin and Lindsay as the bottom two.

In a surprise twist, it is revealed that instead of being eliminated, the two contestants will compete in a sudden-death challenge the following day. The episode ends with Lindsay and Justin gearing up for the challenge and the rest of the contestants speculating on what it might entail.
