As the episode progresses, we see the characters face more challenges and hurdles. Janette (Kim Dickens), a chef who has recently opened her own restaurant, is dealing with the realities of running a business in a struggling economy. Her partner, David Chang, is putting pressure on her to cut corners and sacrifice quality to save money.

Albert Lambreaux (Clarke Peters), a Mardi Gras Indian chief, is dealing with health issues and personal struggles as he prepares for the upcoming Mardi Gras season. His son Delmond (Rob Brown), a successful jazz musician in New York, returns to the city to reconnect with his roots and confront his relationship with his father.

Throughout the episode, the spirit of New Orleans is present in the music and culture that permeates the city. The characters come together to celebrate the city's unique culture, but they also face the harsh realities of post-Katrina New Orleans. Despite the challenges they face, they continue to find ways to rise above the obstacles and move forward.
