Ep 7. Carnival Time

In the seventh episode of Treme's second season, entitled "Carnival Time," the vibrant city of New Orleans is preparing for one of its biggest events of the year: Mardi Gras. Elsewhere, LaDonna Batiste-Williams (played by Khandi Alexander) faces a difficult decision regarding her brother's murder case, as the prosecutor offers her a deal that could result in the true culprit going unpunished. And as Janette Desautel (played by Kim Dickens) continues to build her new restaurant, she experiences a setback when her investors pull out.

Despite these challenges, the characters of Treme come together to celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of New Orleans during Mardi Gras, with music, food, and dancing filling the streets. Along the way, they find moments of joy and connection amidst the chaos of the festivities.
