Ep 8. Just Add Water

Jim and his team are back with a new adventure in the eighth episode of the second season of "Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia" called "Just Add Water." The show has been a favorite amongst young and old alike since its premiere in 2016 and continues to entertain with its unique blend of fantasy and adventure.

The episode opens with Jim and his team, consisting of Toby and Blinky, gearing up for their upcoming mission. Jim is still disappointed that Claire is unable to join them due to her obligations as a member of the Gumnar court. However, they have a new ally in her place, a young witch named Mary who they met in the previous episode.

Their mission is to stop Gunmar's army from getting ahold of a powerful weapon that can destroy the entire Trollmarket. The weapon is hidden somewhere in the nearby lake, and the team has to retrieve it before Gunmar's army does.

The team dives into the lake and soon discovers a strange underwater world filled with dangerous creatures. They also find a lost city that was once inhabited by ancient trolls. The city has been abandoned for centuries, but there are still some traps and puzzles left behind to protect the weapon.

As they progress through the city, they encounter a mermaid named Luug who at first appears hostile, but they soon realize that she is the key to the puzzle that will lead them to the weapon. After they solve the puzzle, they get their hands on the weapon, but it soon becomes clear that they're being watched.

Gunmar's army has found the lake, and they're closing in on Jim and his team. The team makes a desperate attempt to get out of the lake with the weapon before Gunmar's army catches up to them. However, they soon realize that the weapon is incredibly heavy, and they won't be able to carry it all the way back to the Trollmarket.

Just when things seem impossible, a group of friendly mermaids arrives and offers to help them. They lead the team to a hidden underwater cave that they can use to transport the weapon back to the Trollmarket safely.

Meanwhile, back at the Trollmarket, Claire is dealing with her own problems. She is tasked with hosting a diplomatic group of trolls from the Gorgonic Grotto. The trolls are unhappy about certain policies and are threatening to leave the Trollmarket and start their own kingdom.

With the help of her friend, Vendel, Claire attempts to smooth over the situation and convince the trolls to stay. However, she soon realizes that something more sinister is at play. One of the trolls, a mysterious figure named Dictatious, appears to be influencing the others to turn against the Trollmarket and join Gunmar's army.

The episode comes to an exciting conclusion as both storylines converge. Jim and his team arrive back at the Trollmarket with the weapon, just as Dictatious's true motives are revealed. Claire and Vendel join forces with Jim and his team to stop Dictatious and his followers from leaving the Trollmarket and joining Gunmar's army.

Overall, "Just Add Water" is an action-packed episode that showcases the best of "Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia." With stunning visuals, exciting action sequences, and a well-crafted storyline, the episode keeps viewers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
