"True Crime with Aphrodite Jones" is the hit documentary program that looks behind the scenes of today's top headline cases. Criminal author Aphrodite Jones will interview the people who were involved with the most infamous cases on public record. From cold cases that date back to the late 1960's like the Zodiac murders, to the most infamous missing person case involving Chandra Levy. Jones takes a strategic look at each case, carefully making a profile of both the criminals and victims. Some of the cases are often senseless acts of violence that occur without warning and leave everyone involved unprepared for what they might find. Sometimes she will investigate court cases with an unbiased eye to find out what is the motive behind the case. Jones, after conducting an interview with law enforcement or other times the attorneys involved in court cases, will make an observation on the case at hand. One case that made headlines at the end of the current decade was the death of pop legend Michael Jackson. Here again, Jones investigates the factors that lead to the inevitable death of the singer observing the small details that make up each case that she comes across during her interviews. Some details come to light after being overlooked in the previous investigation, such as in the JonBennet Ramsey case that a suspect might have perpetrated the crime while the family slept that Christmas holiday in 1995. Clues that lead away from the home to a suspect overlooked by local police. In this case there is the possibility of a twist that can lead into a totally different direction that an investigation started from. To her credit, Jones is also an accomplished crime author who writes novels about crimes that have been committed. She knows where to look where others have gone before uncovering new details about crimes, plus court cases in the district courts around the country. Next time a person plots to commit a crime, he or she should think twice because Aphrodite Jones will uncover the truth behind the crime.
