Dudley is overeager to prove himself as a responsible watch Dog, but his enthusiasm soon gets the best of him when he accidentally breaks the watch. Desperate to cover up his mistake, Dudley enlists the help of Keswick to create a fake watch to replace the real one.

However, when the Chief discovers that his watch has been replaced, he is devastated and accuses Dudley of stealing it. Dudley realizes that he has made a grave mistake and comes clean about what happened to the watch.

In the end, Dudley learns an important lesson about responsibility and the value of honesty. He manages to repair the watch and earns the trust and respect of the Chief once again.
