Ep 15. Sky Zone

Undercover Boss is a popular television show that follows high-ranking executives as they go undercover in their own companies to gain insights into their operations. In season 5 episode 15, the CEO of Sky Zone, a chain of indoor trampoline parks, goes undercover to find out how his company is really operating and identify areas for improvement.

The CEO, Jeff Platt, disguises himself as an unemployed man named Joe and spends a week working at different Sky Zone locations across the country. He starts off working at the front desk of a Sky Zone in Chicago, where he struggles to keep up with the fast-paced environment and the demands of customers. He also spends time working as a court monitor, cleaning the trampolines, and even dressing up as the Sky Zone mascot, all in an effort to see how the company is really functioning from the ground up.

Throughout his undercover journey, Jeff meets a number of Sky Zone employees from different walks of life. He meets a single mother who works long hours at Sky Zone to support her three young children, and a young man who considers Sky Zone to be his second home and credits it with helping him overcome personal struggles. He also meets some employees who are struggling with their jobs and don't feel supported by their superiors.

As Jeff works incognito, he begins to see some issues within Sky Zone that he wasn't aware of before. For one, he witnesses firsthand the challenges that come with managing a large chain of trampoline parks, from scheduling and staffing to ensuring consistency across locations. He also sees how some employees are struggling with their roles and are not getting the support they need to succeed.

Throughout the episode, Jeff takes note of these issues and makes plans to address them as the CEO of Sky Zone. He also has the opportunity to reward some of the hardworking and deserving employees he encounters during his undercover journey. In one particularly heartwarming segment, he surprises a long-time employee with a new car to help make her commute easier and more reliable.

The episode concludes with Jeff revealing his true identity to the employees he worked with during his undercover week. He discusses his plans to address the issues he found and improve the company, while also expressing his gratitude for the hard work and dedication of his employees. The show ends on a positive note, with Jeff committed to making Sky Zone an even better place to work and play for everyone involved.
