Ep 13. AdvantaClean

In season 7, episode 13 of Undercover Boss, the CEO of AdvantaClean, Jeff Dudan, goes undercover to experience what it's like to work at one of the nation's leading providers of environmental services. AdvantaClean specializes in mold remediation, moisture control, air duct cleaning, and sanitizing services for homes and businesses.

To start his undercover mission, Dudan goes by the name "Josh" and poses as a former landscaper who is new to the industry. In his first job, he heads to a job site where he assists a team of technicians with a mold remediation project. Despite his lack of experience, Dudan dives right in, wearing a protective suit and respirator and following the lead of his teammates. Along the way, he learns about the importance of thoroughness and attention to detail when it comes to cleaning up potentially hazardous mold.

Next, Dudan gets a chance to work with AdvantaClean's air duct cleaning team. He joins a crew led by a technician named Tim, and together they spend the day driving around town and cleaning out dirty air ducts in people's homes. Dudan is surprised to see just how much gunk can accumulate in air ducts, and he quickly realizes that AdvantaClean's services can be crucial for maintaining good air quality and reducing allergens in people's homes.

After spending some time in the field, Dudan switches gears and heads to one of AdvantaClean's call centers. Here, he poses as a customer service agent and tries his best to assist customers who are calling in to schedule appointments or ask questions. Despite his best efforts, Dudan quickly realizes that the job can be very stressful, and that customer service agents need to be able to multitask and handle a high volume of calls while maintaining a positive attitude.

In his final job, Dudan gets a chance to work with AdvantaClean's franchise development team. He helps to prepare for a franchise expo by putting together marketing materials and giving a practice pitch to a group of employees. Dudan is impressed by the passion and enthusiasm of the team, and he realizes that AdvantaClean's success is due in large part to the hard work of its employees and franchisees.

Throughout the episode, Dudan gets a chance to see firsthand how his company operates, and he gains a new appreciation for the hard work that goes into providing quality environmental services. He also gets an opportunity to meet some of his employees and see how their jobs impact the lives of the customers they serve. Ultimately, Dudan's undercover mission helps him to gain new insights and make improvements to the company that will benefit both its employees and its customers.
