Ep 2. Crackerjack

Tara is a woman living with dissociative identity disorder, formerly known as multiple personality disorder. In season 3 episode 2, titled "Crackerjack," Tara's husband Max struggles to find a job as a contractor after being blacklisted by his last employer. Meanwhile, Tara's alter personalities Buck and T return, causing chaos in the family's life.

Buck, a masculine and aggressive alter who enjoys hunting and violence, takes control of Tara's body in order to go on a manly fishing trip with Max and his friends. However, Tara's daughter Kate is wary of Buck's behavior and confronts him about his dangerous and inappropriate actions.

Tara's other alter T, a rebellious teenager with a punk rock attitude, also makes an appearance in this episode. T causes trouble at school by getting into a fight with a classmate and refusing to do her homework.

As Tara's alters continue to wreak havoc on her life, she starts to worry that her disorder is getting worse and may be out of her control. With the help of her therapist, she tries to come to terms with her condition and find a way to manage her alters.

Throughout the episode, the family also prepares for their annual neighborhood block party. Tara's sister Charmaine, who is pregnant with her first child, attends the party with her boyfriend Nick. However, Nick's behavior raises suspicions and causes tension between him and the family.

Overall, "Crackerjack" is a tense and dramatic episode that explores the struggles of living with dissociative identity disorder and the impact it has on Tara and her family. As Tara continues to grapple with her alters and Max struggles to find work, tensions rise and relationships are tested.
