In the second half, "The Troll," Wander and Sylvia encounter a troll who is blocking their path. The troll demands a toll in order for them to cross the bridge. Wander tries to reason with the troll, but he refuses to budge. Sylvia gets angry and tries to fight him, but the troll is too strong.
Wander then decides to use a different approach and begins singing a song about friendship. The troll is initially annoyed but is eventually won over by the song. He lets them cross the bridge for free and even offers to be their friend.
Overall, "The Bad Guy / The Troll" is an episode about the power of friendship and the importance of understanding others. Wander teaches us that even the most feared individual can be lonely and in search of companionship. Additionally, the episode reinforces the idea that violence is not always the answer and that sometimes a little kindness and understanding can go a long way.
