Louise, who has been diagnosed with leukemia, ends up in a fight with Ling Yizhou, the CEO of a company that she too works for. Ling Yizhou is instigated by his ex-girlfriend, who wants to see Louise out of the picture. In the meantime, Ling Yizhou begins to experience nausea and dizziness, and visits a doctor to figure out what's going on. They determine that he may have a brain tumor, which puts him in a state of shock and unpredictability. Despite everything that's been going on, Ling Yizhou and Louise find themselves growing closer, though they refuse to acknowledge their feelings for each other. Things take a turn for the worse when Ling Yizhou's ex-girlfriend sets Louise up, leaving her in a dangerous and compromising situation. As they all attempt to navigate their complicated relationships, it remains to be seen whether they can overcome the obstacles that come their way.
