In This Episode of Will & Grace, titled "There But For The Grace Of Grace," things get off to a rocky start when Grace discovers that her new apartment is directly across from her ex-fiance's residence. She expresses her discomfort to Will, who suggests that she do something to take her mind off of her ex, such as going to a museum. However, Grace soon finds herself stuck in the museum's gift shop elevator with an irritatingly talkative employee named Karen.
Meanwhile, Jack meets with his own ex, Rosario, who has come to visit from the Dominican Republic. They reminisce about their past and Jack begins to feel guilty about how he ended things with her. Rosario encourages Jack to apologize and make things right, but he struggles with how to do so.
As the episode progresses, we see Grace's anxiety about her ex escalating, leading her to contemplate some drastic measures. Will tries to intervene and talk her out of it, warning her that she could end up regretting her decision.
Jack finally decides to take Rosario's advice and apologize to her for his past behavior. Though it is an emotional moment for both of them, it ultimately brings them closure and a sense of peace.
Throughout the episode, we see the characters grappling with their past relationships and the emotional toll they can take. But ultimately, they learn that healing and closure are possible with honesty and compassion.
