Ep 5. Disenchanted Evening

Alex Russo, the protagonist of the show Wizards of Waverly Place, is a teenager who belongs to a wizard family that operates a small sandwich shop in the heart of Waverly Place in New York City. Alex tries to trick T.J. by making him think that she has lost her powers. T.J. falls for the trick and tries to steal Alex's powers. However, Alex reveals that she still has her powers and blasts T.J. away. She then leaves the party with Justin, who is impressed with Alex's quick thinking and bravery.

The episode "Disenchanted Evening" touches on themes of sibling rivalry, teenage romance, and the importance of family. It showcases Alex as a strong, independent, and smart teenage girl who can take care of herself despite being surrounded by wizards and magical creatures.
