In season 2 episode 3 of Word Travels, titled "The Philippines: A Taste of Paradise," hosts Robin Esrock and Julia Dimon embark on a culinary adventure through the stunning islands of the Philippines.

Next up, Robin and Julia head to Bohol, where they visit a coffee farm and learn about the history and production of Philippine coffee. They also get to try their hand at processing the beans and roasting their own coffee- a true farm-to-cup experience!
The highlight of the episode is when the hosts visit the hilly region of Sagada, where they meet with local farmers who have been using traditional farming methods for generations. The farmers show Robin and Julia how they grow and harvest rice, and the duo tries their hand at planting and harvesting the crop, getting a glimpse into the hard work and dedication required to grow and harvest rice.
