Spanish Team Summit falls behind the leaders as they get lost in the rugged terrain approaching Vuwa Falls. Farther back on the course, rookie Team Iron Cowboy push themselves and each other as they labor through the muddy mountain biking section. For veteran Team Bend Racing, their recovery from the Day 1 setback continues, although another team member is now suffering from a previous injury. Team Summit gets back on track as they begin the daunting Vuwa Falls rope climb, hoping to rejoin the race leaders.
