Ep 6. Trial by Gary

Gary has been a regular cast member in the show since its first season. Trial by Gary is the sixth episode of the fourth season of the Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell series. In this episode, Gary is put on trial and must defend his actions.

The episode starts with the usual opening credits, where the viewer is shown glimpses of the characters that are going to be featured in the episode. In the first scene, we see Gary at work, which is in Hell, They’re working hard to meet their deadlines, much like how employees on Earth would. During a meeting with his boss Satan, Gary is accused of several unethical actions. Satan accuses him of stealing office supplies, failing to meet his targets, and for being in possession of stolen souls. Gary denies these accusations, even though he knows they are true.

The scene then shifts to a courtroom, where Gary is on trial for his actions. The prosecutor is J.T., one of Satan’s henchmen, and Gary's defense attorney is Dana, another employee in Hell. The trial begins with J.T. laying out the charges against Gary. Meanwhile, Dana argues that Gary is innocent and that the accusations against him are baseless.

As the trial proceeds, we see several witnesses being called to the stand. The first witness is a colleague of Gary, who gives evidence that Gary was caught stealing office supplies. The second witness is Satan himself, who testifies that he found stolen souls in Gary's locker. Gary protests his innocence, pointing out that the locker in question belonged to his colleague, Donny.

Things take an even darker turn when a third witness is called to the stand. It is revealed that Gary has been labelling hell-bound souls as "heaven-bound" in the company's records, thereby manipulating the system and collecting bonuses that he did not deserve. The judge orders Gary to be thrown into the Void, which is basically a kind of pit in Hell.

The episode then takes on a more philosophical tone as Dana and Gary engage in a debate about the nature of Hell. Dana argues that Hell is supposed to be a place of rehabilitation, where sinners are given a second chance to redeem themselves, while Gary insists that it is nothing more than a profit-driven corporation, with little or no regard for the souls in its care.

As the episode progresses, we see that Gary's conviction throws the entire company into chaos. His co-workers go on strike, and the company's profits plummet. Satan calls an emergency meeting to discuss the issue, which doesn't bode well for Gary's future.

Finally, the episode ends with Gary being rescued from the Void by Satan, who offers him his job back, on one condition: he has to spy on his co-workers and report any wrongdoing to him. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the viewer to wonder what Gary will do.

Overall, Trial by Gary is an interesting and thought-provoking episode. It raises questions about the nature of sin and punishment, as well as the role of corporations in our lives. It also provides some insights into the characters of Gary and Satan, who are two of the show's most prominent figures.
