Gretchen is struggling with her job as a PR agent and decides to quit after having a conversation with a rival PR agent. She believes that her job does not have a positive impact on the world and that she is not making a difference. Jimmy, however, thinks that she should stick with her job and make the necessary changes from within the industry. Meanwhile, Edgar is dealing with his PTSD and tries to find comfort in a support group led by his old war buddy Max. However, Max isn't exactly the best influence and doesn't seem to have Edgar's best interests at heart. Lastly, Lindsay tries to get her life together by enrolling in a community college and taking a public speaking class, but quickly realizes that she might not be as smart as she thinks she is. The episode explores the characters' struggles with their careers and personal lives, as well as the obstacles they face in trying to improve themselves.
