In Zoids Chaotic Century season 1 episode 9, titled "The Valley of the Monster," the story follows protagonist Van and his Zoid, Zeke, as they venture into a treacherous valley in search of parts to repair their damaged Shield Liger. Van decides to investigate and discovers that the Organoid is actually protecting a small, injured Zoid. The Zoid has been abandoned by its owner and left to die in the valley.
Van is determined to help the injured Zoid and convinces the Organoid to let him take it with him. However, the Organoid has a condition – it will only allow the small Zoid to be saved if Van can defeat it in battle.
The battle between Van and the Organoid is intense and grueling. They clash with all their might, but in the end, it is Van and Zeke who emerge victorious. The Organoid is impressed with Van's skills and allows him to take the injured Zoid with him.
As they leave the valley, the Zoid bandits return once again, eager to steal Van's parts. However, this time they are met with a surprise. The small Zoid that Van rescued has now grown into a powerful Zoid, and with its newfound strength, it is able to defeat the bandits with ease.
With their parts repaired and a new Zoid on their team, Van and Zeke continue their journey, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. "The Valley of the Monster" is an action-packed episode full of battles and intrigue, showcasing the bravery and determination of our hero and his Zoid.
