Wise Blood is an American-German 1979 drama film directed by John Huston and based on the 1952 novel Wise Blood by Flannery O'Connor. The original music score was composed by Alex North. It was shown out of competition at the 1979 Cannes Film Festival. It was released on DVD by Criterion Collection on 5/12/09.
