In 30 Rock season 3 episode 2, titled "Believe in the Stars," Liz Lemon, the head writer of the sketch comedy show TGS with Tracy Jordan, is feeling disillusioned with her job after the network forces her to promote a new celebrity, who is a terrible comedian.

Meanwhile, Jack Donaghy, the head of NBC, is promoting a new fragrance for men called "Double Infinity" with an actor named Danny Baker, but Baker's increasingly bizarre behavior causes problems for the campaign.

At the same time, Tracy Jordan, the star of TGS, is convinced that he is destined for greatness in Hollywood and enlists the help of Kenneth, the NBC page, to make it happen.

Throughout the episode, Liz struggles with her cynicism towards show business and her desire to believe in something, whether it's Tracy's dreams, Jack's vision for NBC, or her own creative potential.

"Believe in the Stars" is a hilarious and poignant exploration of the highs and lows of the entertainment industry, and the ways in which ambition and idealism can sometimes clash with reality. It is a must-watch for any fan of the show, as it showcases the excellent writing, acting, and comedic timing that made 30 Rock such a beloved series.
