Ep 6. Second Chances

Megan Hunt, played by Dana Delany, the medical examiner and former neurosurgeon, is back in action with a new episode of Body of Proof season 2 titled Second Chances. The show revolves around Megan who quits her job as a neurosurgeon after an accident on the table causes her to lose a patient. Megan then tries to find a new purpose in life by joining the city's medical examiner's office. She also learns that Sawyer had tried to expose the truth to the world before he was killed. Todd denies having any involvement in the murders or in the cover-up but Megan is still doubtful.

Meanwhile, Megan's daughter Lacey (Mary Mouser) is being bullied at school by a fellow student named Charlotte (Madison McLaughlin). Lacey is having a tough time dealing with it and Megan tries to help her by talking to the school principal. Megan also tries to connect with Lacey's father, who has been absent from her life for a long time.

The episode Second Chances explores the theme of second chances, not just in terms of the new drug being tested but also in terms of Megan trying to establish a better relationship with her daughter and ex-husband. Megan learns that sometimes it's better to let go of the past and move on, but at the same time, it's important to hold people accountable for their actions.
