Ep 9. Live From Ireland: The Search For The Banshee Ghost

In "Destination Truth" season 4 episode 9, host Josh Gates and his team head to Ireland to investigate the Banshee Ghost, a female spirit known for her blood-curdling screams and association with death. The episode begins with the team interviewing locals about Banshee sightings and gathering historical information on the legend. They then set up base in a remote castle and begin their investigation.

The team splits up and explores the castle grounds, using various devices to capture any paranormal activity. While conducting an EVP session, they capture what sounds like a woman screaming in the distance. The team investigates the area but cannot find the source of the noise. In another part of the castle, they capture an unexplained shadow figure on camera.

As night falls, the team sets up a live broadcast from the castle to document any activity in real-time. Josh and fellow investigator Erin Ryder explore the area around the castle with night vision goggles. They hear what sounds like a woman screaming again and quickly head back to the castle to investigate.

Once back at the castle, the team captures clear audio of the Banshee's scream. They also hear unexplained noises coming from the upstairs of the castle. The team heads upstairs to investigate and discovers that a door that was previously closed is now wide open.

The investigation then takes a turn as the team explores a nearby cemetery in search of the Banshee. They hear eerie noises and capture strange mist-like figures on their cameras. As they investigate further, they encounter a local who shares a story of being followed by the Banshee and feeling an overwhelming sense of dread.

The episode ends with the team reflecting on their investigation and their encounters with the Banshee. While they may not have found definitive proof of the spirit's existence, they did capture unexplained phenomena and had a spine-chilling experience in the process.
