Bangalore Days is a 2014 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Anjali Menon. It stars Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles, with supporting performances from Fahadh Faasil, Isha Talwar, Nithya Menen, and Parvathy Thiruvothu. The film tells the story of three cousins, who move to Bangalore for various reasons and the experiences they have during their stay.

The movie begins with a visual of Kuttan (Nivin Pauly) as a child; he belongs to a traditional Christian family in Kerala with a father who has a deep love for cricket. His dream is to play cricket for Kerala, while his cousin Arjun (Dulquer Salmaan), from a wealthy family, loves bikes and open roads. The third cousin, Divya (Nazriya Nazim), is interested in cooking and wants to create a name for herself as a chef.

The story takes a turn when Kuttan's father scolds him for not pursuing his mechanical engineering degree due to his focus on cricket, and after seeing Arjun's new bike, he decides to leave Kerala for Bangalore with the hope of finding a job as a bike mechanic. Arjun, who had been studying fashion in the US, comes to India in search of a meaningful job and to pursue his love of photography. Lastly, Divya, who has been struggling to convince her parents to let her pursue her passion for cooking, is married off to a software engineer who is based in Bangalore.

As the three cousins set foot in Bangalore, they are met with a mix of experiences. Arjun finds himself struggling to find a job that lets him follow his dreams, while Kuttan manages to find a job as a bike mechanic thanks to his cousin's connections. Divya adjusts to her new married life while continuing her culinary pursuits. They also meet a host of other characters who change their lives in different ways -- Jennifer, a cancer survivor played by Parvathy Thiruvothu, who helps Arjun find his way; Prasad, a common friend who brings joy into their lives through his childlike innocence; and Sarah played by Nithya Menen, who helps Kuttan find a sense of purpose.

The film is a slice of life that is both heartwarming and entertaining. It explores a range of themes like family, friendship, love, career, and aspirations. The film also showcases some stunning visuals of Bangalore, be it the busy streets, open highways or coffee shops, and weddings. The music by Gopi Sunder is another highlight of the film, with tracks like 'Ethu Kari Ravilum' and 'Maangalyam' becoming chartbusters.

The actors deserve special mention, as they breathe life into the characters they play. Dulquer Salmaan brings both charm and depth to his role as Arjun, while Nivin Pauly plays Kuttan with a rare vulnerability. Nazriya Nazim is simply delightful as Divya, and her chemistry with Nivin Pauly is a treat to watch. Fahadh Faasil has a brief but impactful role as their cousin who is a successful businessman in Bangalore.

Overall, Bangalore Days is a landmark movie in Malayalam cinema that has won many accolades and critical acclaim. It is a movie that will make you laugh, cry, and feel a range of emotions. It is a movie that captures the essence of Bangalore, with all its highs and lows, and serves as a reminder that life is a journey that is best experienced with family and friends.
