Battle of the Brave

"Battle of the Brave" is a film that depicts two all-too-common elements of humanity: war and heartbreak. Set in mid-18th century Canada, the film depicts the epic battle between France and England in their attempts to gain control of the land. The battle for the rich resources and trading routes that Canada offers is one that causes turmoil and strife amongst the locals. No characters are more affected than the two star-crossed lovers of the film, a young widowed peasant and a well-off fur trapper. As the battle over control for Canada advances, the lovers must engage in a battle of their own in order to save their newfound romance.
