Watch Biker Boyz

This is the story of a young misfit rider who seeks to become the best motorcyclist in California. The misfit rider(Kid played by Derek Luke) is the son of a legendary rider who was killed in a race years ago. Kid's mother is scarred by the accident and wants to make sure her only son does not fall into the same lifestyle as his father. Smoke(played by Lawrence Fishbourne) who is the undefeated motorcycle champion of California is a family friend and unwanted mentor to Kid. Kid's father and Smoke were best of friends growing up, which leads Smoke to feel some responsibility to keeping Kid alive. Throughout the movie Kid's irrational and sometimes reckless behavior lands him into various situations, that Smoke saves him from. Kid's unwarranted anger towards Smoke causes him to push him away at ever instance.

Kid's desire to take Smoke's helmet(and claim the title of King of California), but before he can challenge him, he must became apart of an recognized bike club. So after meeting up with other riders Kid gains recognition by the other clubs, he begins racing against other bike clubs to gain respect. During an impromptu race with Dogg(played by Kidd Rock),Kid's mother begs Smoke to stop the race for fear of losing her son. After questioning why he should stop the race, Kid's mother reveals the truth that Smoke is Kid's biological father. The news nearly rips Smoke apart and sets the tone for the remainder of the movie.

The race is called off by Smoke, which enrages Kid who gets into a small spat with Smoke and eventually is beaten up. After returning home Kid confronts his mother and accuses her of lying to him all his life. He then storms out and begins to hustle other racers out of their money and building his reputation. Eventually the hustling catches up to him and he is almost killed in an altercation. Luckily Smoke shows up and saves him once again. After trying to set Kid straight he once again refuses his fathers generosity and continues his path to become King of California. At a track race against Dogg he suffers a horrible fall that almost ends his life. Later that night Kid is offered Dogg's bike to race against Smoke who he eventually beats.
