When the Great Spirit Mata Nui accidentally winds up on the planet Bara Magna, he becomes involved in a war between the Agori and the evil Skrall. Using his power, Mata Nui is able to enhance the skills and abilities of a special group of warriors, including a combat veteran named Ackar, a spirited female named Kiina, a youngster named Gresh and a beetle named Click. But the Skrall are not the only threat facing Mata Nui and the warriors. There is a traitor among the Agori, and a potentially devastating secret lying beneath the surface of Bara Magna.
