In Black Rain, two policemen go on the hunt for a gang member who disappeared into the underground of the Chinese mafia, Yakuza. Michael Douglas portrays the detective who goes after and captures the killer he was in pursuit of after a double murder. Andy Garcia is his partner who is supposed to help return this criminal to the proper authorities. Unfortunately, they turn the killer over to two other gangsters disguised as the authorities, and then have go on pursuit to recapture this quick thinking Chinese mafia gangster.
