The creator of the comic strip becomes quite popular in the real world, and begins to be recognized, and get recognition. He then creates a female character on paper that he is intrigued by. This cartoon is played by Kim Basinger. All of a sudden the creator of Cool World finds himself being pulled into the actual comic strip by one of the characters, he falls in, and finds himself smack dab in the middle of the story he created. He finds out that it has taken on a life of its own, with or without him.
