This haunting and disturbing motion picture tells a tale of a man who seemingly has everything he needs in life, and loving wife, and a high status, respectable career. The film portrays the tale of a Judge named Vishnu. Vishnu is quite content with his happy way of life. However, after a chance meeting with a seemingly respectable man who wanted to play cards with him, Vishnu blacks out and upon his wake he faces several disturbing realities. It appears as though Vishnu is not who he believes he is, and is instead told by others about who he truly is and what his identity has been all along.

Dastaan is a 1972 art house & international movie. It has received poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 7.0.
