Everlasting Moments is a Swedish period drama film directed by Jan Troell, released in 2008. Meanwhile, World War I breaks out, and Sigfrid is drafted into the army. Maria is left alone with their children and struggles to make ends meet. Despite the difficulties, she continues to take pictures and to develop her artistic skills, finding solace and purpose in her photography.

As the war ends, Sigfrid comes back traumatized and Maria must find a way to reconcile with him while continuing to pursue her passion for photography. She enters a photo contest and wins, which brings her national recognition and leads to a life-changing opportunity.
