Haunted by the tragic death of his wife, a man sets out to find answers on the lonesome paved arteries connecting the country. Highwaymen is a mile-a-minute rollercoaster ride that shows how twisted the mind can get when trapped on the endless maze of roads in modern America. Two men find each other time and again at opposite ends of the fight between good and evil as their battle rages on among the unwary bystanders along their path of mayhem. Flesh is no match for metal and one side of this war has made himself into more machine than man.
