Even though he was born with martial arts skills and they have just increased as he grew, he searches out Master Tang to finish honing his fighting abilities. First he must show that he is truly the Chosen One by showing his birthmark, which happens to be a living face on his tongue. He gets introduced to two of the movies other main characters; the girl Ling that falls in love with him and Wimp Lo that was purposely trained wrong as a joke. Meanwhile, Master Pain (the man the Chosen One is looking for) appears in town. After demonstrating his powerful skills to the townsmen, he wins the support of the mayor and decides to change his name to Betty. The comical skits continue and many more unique characters continue to join in the movie. The cast of characters include Moo Nieu, a cow with a large utter that skirts milk as a defense; Whoa, a mysterious woman with a single large breast and Muu-Shuu Phasa, a large lion constellation that magically appears in the sky to give advice. For preparation, the Chosen One fights wooden statutes of Betty and gets words of inspiration from Ling. The laughs continue as he makes his way to the big showdown with Betty.
