Detective John McClane is back for the fourth installment in the Die Hard film series. This time, the fiery NYPD Detective is going up against a group of computer hackers led by an ex-FBI cyber warfare consultant named Thomas Gabriel. Gabriel's group is bent on crippling the United States' utility and financial infrastructure through various cyber attacks he warned the FBI about years ago. Over the top action and furious shootouts are almost nonstop as McClane uses old school, gumshoe methods to combat a group of new age terrorists attempting to exploit America's over reliance on computers and technology. Assisting McClane on this adventure is a young, computer hacker named Matt Farrell, whom the cyber terrorists are seeking to eliminate as he possesses the computer skills necessary to thwart their nefarious plans. McClane must keep Farrell alive and track down the bad guys in order to keep the country safe from harm during its most patriotic holiday, the Fourth of July.
