The plot of the film revolves around John Nguyen, a former veteran suffering from PTSD. He saves a prostitute from several Aryan thugs and kills all but one of them. She thanks him but says that they will now most likely be killed by the thug's master, Hollis, leader of the criminal underworld. This sets off a chain reaction of violence and revenge that sets both Hollis and Nguyen on a crash collision course where only one can emerge victorious.
