Sentinelle is a 2021 action thriller film starring Olga Kurylenko, Marilyn Lima, and Michel Nabokoff. The movie is directed by Julien Leclercq and written by Matthieu Serveau. It premiered on Netflix on March 5, 2021. Kurylenko plays the role of Klara, a French Army veteran who is posted to Nice on the French Rivera after serving in Syria. While patrolling the border with Italy with her fellow soldiers, Klara's sister Tania (Lima) is brutally attacked and left for dead in the streets of the city. Klara decides to take matters into her own hands, disobeying orders from her commanding officer (Nabokoff) and embarking on a dangerous mission to track down the person responsible for her sister's assault.

Shot on location in Nice, Sentinelle showcases the beautiful scenery of the city in its opening scenes but quickly shifts gear into a tense and gritty action flick. Klara's mission takes her into the seedy criminal underworld of Nice, where she fights off drug dealers, pimps, and arms smugglers in her quest for revenge. Her main suspect is a wealthy nightclub owner named Charbel (played by French actor and DJ Gabriel Almaer).

As Klara delves deeper into Charbel's world, she discovers a shocking conspiracy involving corrupt police officers and politicians who are involved in human trafficking. Along the way, she teams up with a young hacker named Alain (played by Guillaume Duhesme), who helps her uncover the truth about her sister's attack and the criminal network behind it.

Kurylenko delivers a compelling performance as Klara, portraying her as a tough but vulnerable soldier struggling to cope with the traumas of war and her sister's assault. Lima is also impressive as Tania, who becomes a key part of the plot despite spending most of the film in a coma. Nabokoff is solid as Klara's commanding officer, who tries to rein her in but ultimately supports her dangerous mission.

Leclercq's direction is slick and stylish, making good use of the film's exotic locations and frenetic action sequences. The fight scenes are brutal and realistic, with Kurylenko doing many of her own stunts. The film's score, by Julien Bellanger, also adds to the tension and energy of the film.

Overall, Sentinelle is a gripping and entertaining action thriller that showcases Kurylenko's talents as an action star. Its story is a familiar one, but it is executed with style and energy, making it a great addition to the genre.
