The Christmas Box

The Christmas Box, is a 1995 classic movie that is not only timeless, but also thought provoking as well. The story leads viewers on a journey, when a ski shop owner and his family moves in with an elderly widow who needs assistance. As he experiences recurring dreams, he notices something mysterious about the widow and the house she lived in. Although secretive in her demeanor, the elderly widow is aggravated by the family’s values and their lifestyle and often keeps to herself. The differences caused frustration, yet allowed them to uncover a painful past and address some unresolved issues.

This story reveals how one man’s quest to find answers to his dreams can create such intensity that it compels him to be on an on-going pursuit for answers until they are revealed.
