Martha's lousy husband had left her right before Christmas with two daughters and a stepson. He took all their cash and left the family homeless. Martha packed up the children and left town to find a job and a place to live. She ended up in a small town when her car breaks down. Martha was hired at a little diner that use to be famous for it's root beer. She knew Christmas was going to be bleak for her kids. What Martha didn't know was how the town people were getting together to give them the best Christmas ever.
