This is a western movie about a vigilante group in Kansas before the Civil War. Luke Darcy is the leader of the Jayhawks. He lives in Kansas and has big dreams that Kansas will become a republic without slaves. To further his dreams, he and his group are trying to end slavery by force. The more successful this group is, the angrier the Governor of Kansas becomes. Cam Bleeker is hired by the Governor to infiltrate the group and capture Darcy. In this dark western movie, there is more at stake than power. Bleeker blames Darcy for his wife’s death while he was in prison.
