

The movie fast forwards 20 years later as Moses and his brother Ramses wrecking havoc acting as children around the city. They end up being late for a special ceremony where the Pharaoh makes Ramses in charge of Palace duties and all the work on the temples.
Moses is told one night by Miriam that he is her brother and that their mother saved her life. He doesn't believe her but he speaks with the Pharaoh about it. The Pharaoh tells him that it was indeed true and when Moses saw the story of what happened painted on the wall he is horrified. He thinks about what he was told and goes down to watch the slaves building the temples. He ends up accidentally killing a guard when he tries to save an older man.
After killing the man and walks out into the dessert. Ramses tries to stop him and tells him he can make it all right. Moses tells him he's not even his real brother and leaves. He gets lost and falls into a well only to be saved by a woman he had once made fun of and was rude to. She drops him back into the well but then decides to save him.
Moses goes back to her Father's tribe of Hebrews and is accepted there. He learned about all his customs, got married to her and lived the way his people did. Moses ends up talking to god in the form of burning bush and he tells Moses that he must free the Hebrews from the pharaoh. Moses goes back to the Palace to plead for their release but the Pharaoh was Ramses and Ramses continued to refuse Moses pleads for freedom.
Ramses only tells Moses that they can be free when his son ends up dying from a plague God had unleashed against him for not letting the people go. Moses and his people get chased by Ramses causing Moses to part a red sea and let them walk across to get away. The water ended up killing Ramses and his Army.
