Watch 100 Greatest Artists of All Time

100 Greatest Artists of All Time is a countdown show which airs on VH1; it lists their choices for the 100 greatest music artists. The list includes a wide spectrum of artists and acts from just about every form of popular recorded music, including the likes of ABBA (pop) Johnny Cash (country), Elvis Presley (rock), LL Cool J (rap), Aretha Franklin (soul), Marvin Gaye (R&B) and many, many more. The show, which not only list the artists but ranks them as well, is broken into five one-hour episodes and presents the list in reverse order, starting at number 100 and counting down to the number one artist. You can log on to the VH1 website to see the complete list, with the rankings for numbers 100-5 (though VH1 has released the names of the top five artists, you must watch the show in order to find out their actual ranking).
