Ep 6. And the Candy Manwich

Max and Caroline are back with more laughs and antics in 2 Broke Girls season 2 episode 6, "And the Candy Manwich." This episode starts off with Max and Caroline talking to their neighbor, Sophie, who is upset because her husband, Oleg, is in the hospital after a workplace accident. She's strapped for cash and can't afford to give him a nice gift, so the girls offer to make him a "manwich" for his hospital lunch.

Max and Caroline set out to create the ultimate manwich, which includes all of Oleg's favorite foods: roast beef, mac and cheese, onion rings, and ketchup. They also decide to add candy to the sandwich, which is a bizarre addition, but they think it'll help make the sandwich stand out.

The girls head to the store to pick up the ingredients and spend the rest of the day preparing the manwich. As they're cooking, we get to see their hilarious banter with one another and their adorable friendship. He's now a successful businessman and has a proposition for Max and Caroline -- they can sell their manwich at his candy-themed restaurant.

Max and Caroline are thrilled at the opportunity and agree to do a tasting for Dave the next day. They're ecstatic about the idea of making money and are convinced that this could be their big break.

The next day, they meet Dave at his restaurant and he tastes the manwich. To their surprise, he hates it. He thinks the combination of candy and the other ingredients is just too weird. Max and Caroline are disappointed, but they don't want to give up on their dream just yet.

They decide to modify the recipe and try again. This time, they remove the candy and make a few other tweaks. Dave tries the new version and likes it this time around, but he still doesn't think it's right for his restaurant.

Max and Caroline are crushed, but they don't let it bring them down. They decide to continue selling sandwiches on their own and use the manwich as a way to earn money for their cupcake business.

At the end of the episode, Max and Caroline return to the hospital to visit Oleg and give him the new and improved manwich. He loves it and is thrilled that they thought of him while he was in the hospital. The episode ends with Max and Caroline feeling accomplished and determined to make their small business a success.
