Ep 16. Apollo, Apollo

In the 16th episode of the third season of 30 Rock, titled "Apollo, Apollo", Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) and her team at TGS decide to throw a party to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. However, the festivities are interrupted by the return of Liz's ex-boyfriend Dennis Duffy (Dean Winters), who claims to have changed his ways and wants to win her back.

Meanwhile, Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) begins to feel the weight of his fame as he tries to navigate his personal life without the constant attention of his fans. He ultimately decides to take a drastic measure to regain some privacy.

Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) finds himself in the midst of a moral dilemma when his former mentor and father figure, Don Geiss (Rip Torn), falls into a coma and the company's future is left uncertain. With pressure from his colleagues and love interest Elisa (Salma Hayek), Jack must decide whether to play it safe or take a risk that could change the direction of his career.

As the various storylines unfold, the characters come to realize that achieving their goals may come at a cost, and ultimately must decide what is truly important to them. "Apollo, Apollo" is a hilarious and poignant episode that explores the themes of loyalty, ambition, and personal growth in the context of the fast-paced world of show business.
