Ep 14. Future Husband

In "30 Rock" season 4 episode 14 titled "Future Husband," Liz Lemon finds herself in a bit of a dilemma when she realizes that her boyfriend, Wesley, might not be the "one." Meanwhile, Jack has some personal troubles of his own - he's been getting therapy from Dr. Spaceman, and his wife has yet to forgive him for an infidelity that occurred during their separation.

As the episode begins, Liz and Wesley are enjoying a relaxing weekend together. However, Liz soon starts to feel like something is off. She spends a lot of time daydreaming about her "future husband" - a perfect man who fulfills all of her needs and desires. Liz begins to worry that Wesley might not be the right guy for her, and that she's just settling for him because she's afraid of being alone.

To try to figure things out, Liz turns to her best friend, Jenna. They have a heart-to-heart conversation in which Jenna reveals that she, too, has been thinking a lot lately about her future. She's worried that she'll never find true love because she's too picky. Jenna tells Liz that she needs to give Wesley a chance, and not just dump him because he's not perfect.

Meanwhile, Jack is having a difficult time reconciling with his wife. He's been going to therapy with Dr. Spaceman, who Jack feels is finally helping him sort out his personal issues. Jack is actively trying to become a better person and make amends for the mistakes he's made in the past. However, his wife isn't ready to forgive him just yet.

Jack's situation becomes even more complicated when he discovers that Dr. Spaceman is not actually a licensed therapist. Instead, he's just a regular doctor who's been giving Jack questionable advice. Jack is furious and feels like he's wasted all of his time and money on this "therapy."

As Liz grapples with her relationship woes, she starts to wonder if there really is such a thing as a "future husband." She decides to create a definitive list of all of the qualities she's looking for in a man, and she's determined to find someone who meets all of her criteria.

After going on a few disastrous dates with men who are nothing like her "future husband," Liz starts to wonder if maybe she's being too picky. She confides in Jack, who gives her some wise advice. He tells her that no one is perfect, and that sometimes you just have to accept people for who they are.

Liz takes Jack's advice to heart, and realizes that Wesley might not be perfect, but he's still a kind, caring, and loyal partner. She decides to give him another chance, and they reconcile.

At the end of the episode, we see Liz and Wesley walking hand-in-hand, happy to be together. Meanwhile, Jack is finally able to make amends with his wife, and they start to rebuild their relationship. "30 Rock" season 4 episode 14 ends on a hopeful note, emphasizing the importance of accepting people for who they are and working to build strong, healthy relationships.
