Ep 3. Stone Mountain

In 30 Rock season 4 episode 3, entitled "Stone Mountain," Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) is tasked with finding a new cast member for her show, TGS with Tracy Jordan. Meanwhile, Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) is dealing with his newly-discovered illegitimate son and contracting an infectious disease.

The episode begins with Liz trying to find a new cast member since TGS has lost a lot of viewers due to Jenna Maroney's (Jane Krakowski) recent weight gain. She decides to hold auditions in her hometown of Stone Mountain, Georgia, but the only person who shows up is a man named Randy (played by Armisen). Despite his lack of talent, Liz decides to hire him because she feels bad for him and wants to give him a chance.

Meanwhile, Tracy is dealing with the revelation that he has an illegitimate son named Tracy Jr. and decides to bring him to the TGS studio. However, Tracy Jr. turns out to be a 30-year-old man who is just looking for a father figure. Tracy becomes obsessed with bonding with him and takes him to his favorite strip club, resulting in both of them contracting a virus.

As Liz tries to integrate Randy into the TGS cast, she realizes that he is not quite as innocent as he seems. He has a dark secret involving his family's Confederate past, and Liz tries to teach him a lesson about tolerance and acceptance.
