In Adventure Time season 2 episode 6, titled "Slow Love," Finn and Jake come across a snail who has been infused with magic, which has granted her the ability to talk and walk like a human being. As Finn grapples with how to let Snorlock down gently, the Ice King begins to wreak havoc on Penny's relationship, causing her boyfriend to become increasingly irritable and distant. Finn becomes determined to help Penny and her boyfriend reconcile, and he enlists the help of Jake and Snorlock in order to do so.
As the episode progresses, Finn, Jake, and Snorlock find themselves working together to pull off a grand romantic gesture in order to bring Penny and her boyfriend back together. Meanwhile, the Ice King begins to realize the error of his ways and attempts to make amends with Penny's boyfriend.
Ultimately, the episode ends on a heartwarming note as both the Ice King and Finn find closure in their respective love lives.
