Ep 22. El Concurso de Narval

Almost Naked Animals is an animated television series in which a group of animals run a hotel on a tropical island called the Banana Cabana. The show features a variety of wacky characters and silly situations. In season 1 episode 22, titled "El Concurso de Narval," the animals on the Banana Cabana are gearing up for a big competition.

The episode opens with all of the animals on the island excitedly preparing for the upcoming Narwhal Naming Contest. The contest, which involves naming a new narwhal that has just arrived on the island, is a big deal, and every animal is eager to take part.

Howie, the hotel manager, wants to name the narwhal "Howie Jr." while the resident chef, Octo, suggests "Octonaut." The other animals come up with their own suggestions, such as "Sir Snorkel" and "Narly McBeal."

As the day of the contest arrives, tensions run high. The animals are all decked out in their finest clothes and are ready to impress the judges with their naming suggestions. But just as the contest is about to begin, disaster strikes - the narwhal has disappeared!

The animals are all in a panic, fearing that the contest will be cancelled without a narwhal to name. Howie decides to take charge and organize a search party to find the missing narwhal. However, with each animal searching for the narwhal in their own unique way, chaos ensues.

One animal, Duck, decides to use a metal detector to search for the narwhal, while another, Piggy, uses a...well, let's just say it's not the most effective method. Meanwhile, Octo tries to use his cooking skills to lure the narwhal out of hiding, and Bunny builds a contraption resembling a giant net to catch the narwhal.

Eventually, after much searching, the narwhal is located - seemingly unharmed but covered in purple goo. As the animals begin to clean up the narwhal, they realize that the goo has given the narwhal a unique appearance. It's decided that the narwhal should be named "Barney the Gooey Narwhal" - much to the delight of the animal who originally suggested the name.

In the end, the Narwhal Naming Contest is a success, and everyone is happy with the outcome. The animals celebrate by throwing a big party, with Barney as the guest of honor. As they dance the night away, it's clear that the Banana Cabana is not just a hotel - it's a home for all of the wacky and wonderful animals who live there.
