Watch Amazing Planet

Amazing Planet focuses on discussing and showing off and thoroughly explaining the geological and biological changes that planet Earth has exhibited in its entire lifespan. The series explores all sorts of geological phenomena that make the planet what it is today, such as plate tectonics and their relation to how earthquakes are created and what causes volcanoes to erupt the way they do. The show even goes into detail about what the Earth was like during its formation many billions of years ago and how oceans were able to form here during later years. It goes further in discussing the different physical features of the oceans, ranging from shallow waters to vast coral reefs to even the deepest and darkest trenches of the ocean floor.

Amazing Planet is narrated by Patricia Clarkson. It has four writers on staff: Ann Conanan, Michael Dolan, Eleanor Grant and Sarah Meyer.
