Brothers Troy and Dino Smith were career criminals who pulled off an elaborate $4.5 million jewelry heist on April 7, 2003 in San Francisco. They managed to escape the long arm of the law until Dino was apprehended in Brooklyn in 2004. Troy turned himself into the authorities two years later.
